Samuel Leroy Jackson is a US based actor and producer. He's ranked amongst the highest box office star with an average of $89.9 million per movie. The worldwide box office totals of Jackson movies are estimated to above $16 billion and that exclude his cameo appearances. In 2011, The Guinness Book of World Records named Jackson as the highest grossing movie star ever. Jackson’s wealth is estimated $7.2 billion and big chunk of this came from his franchise movies, Star Wars and Jurassic Park. He worked in about 100 movies and a good chunk of them did great on box office. He is mostly known for his roles in movies named Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park, Die Hard: With a Vengeance, The 51st State, Star Wars, etc. He was also associated with Marvel and worked in few Marvel’s movies. Samuel L. Jackson was born in Washington on December 21, 1948. He was raised by his mother who was a factory worker and his grandparents. He graduated from Morehouse College in 1972. In his college days, he actively participated in right activities for Black people. He met Morgan Freeman during that time and they became good friends. Even some people say that Morgan is the one who encourage Jackson that he can be a good actor. In his early days, Samuel L. Jackson mostly did bad guys role like a drug addict. However, in the mid-nineties he began to get good roles and soon known as one of Hollywood’s hardest working actors. In 1980, Samuel Jackson married to Latanya Richardson and they combined have a daughter named Zoe. They currently reside in California.
